IMPORTANT LETTER FROM MTBA

Dear MA horse breeders,

As of May 5, 2008, the House Budget amendment #888, which dissolved the breeder's association and redirected its monies to the racing commission, has been officially withdrawn.   Thanks to so many of you who called or e-mailed legislators, we have defeated this amendment.  We must still keep our eyes and ears open as the budget proceeds through the senate.  It is not the time to let our guard down.

Again, thank you for your support.

Respectfully,

George F. Brown

Chairman, Massachusetts Thoroughbred Breeders Association
