Dr. Isabel Jurk, DVM, MSpVM.  Isabel joined us last year as our full-time Ophthalmologist.  We see many injuries and diseases of the eye in our equine patients and having Isabel’s expertise at hand has been a big plus for the veterinary school.  Isabel attended graduate school at North Carolina State University where she obtained her degree in Master of Specialized Veterinary Medicine (MSpVM) in 2001.  She also undertook a residency in Ophthalmology at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine from 1998-2001 before coming to Tufts.  You can book an appointment with Isabel for your horse on Tuesdays and Thursdays of every week and emergencies can be seen at any time.
